Inter-House Championship Week

Inter House Championship week was celebrated in our school between June 23rd and June 27th, Monday to Friday.  The students were grouped into three houses namely : Makkal Thilakam, Ponmana Semmal and Puratchi Thalaivar. The celebrations began with Prayer and Lighting of the Lamp.
The inauguration ceremony of our school’s Inter-House Championship week was graced by our esteemed guest Mrs. Shankari Mam, Physical Director of Meenakshi College for Women who emphasized the importance of sports in shaping students individuality and building their confidence. Mrs. Ponni Mam Physical Instructor, was also present and shared her expertise and experience in various sporting games

  • On Monday we had inter house Cricket Match. The Makkal Thilakam house emerged as winners and the Ponmana Semmal house were the Runners

  • On Tuesday, our students showcased their Throw ball skills in an exciting competition. In the boys and girls category the Ponmana Semmal house took the top spot followed by the Puratchi Thalaivar house.

  • Wednesday’s Volley ball event was a highlight of the sporting week, demonstrating student’s athleticism. The Ponmana Semmal house stood out as winners and the Puratchi Thalaivar house were the runners.

  • On Thursday our students showcased their FootBall skills in an exciting competition. In the Boys category Makkal Thilakkam was crowned as winners and Ponmana Semmal secured the 2nd spot. In the Girls Category Puratchi Talaivar was declared the winners and Makkal Thilakam was the runnersup
  • Friday’s spotlight shone on “ Kabaddi”, a thrilling game that tested skills and teamwork. It took center stage with a special inauguration by the Guest of Honour Mr. Nagarajan – International Paralympics Director.

  • The Puractchi Thalaivar house was crowned victorious followed by the Ponmana Semmal house in the boys category. In the girls category The Ponmana Semmal house triumphed over the Makkal Thilakam house.

  • These games provided an opportunity for our children to realize their ability and boost their self-confidence.

    Looking Ahead :

    Bubbling with enthusiasm gained through winning the games, children are working hard to perfect their skills and represent their houses with pride on the School Annual Sports Meet to be held on the 19th of July 2025.
