Convocation Ceremony at Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute

Dr. M.G.R. Institute of Special Education and Research, functioning with the noble objective of providing quality education and promoting the welfare of persons with disabilities, celebrated its Graduation Day with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, 36 students who successfully completed the B.Ed. Special Education (Hearing Impairment – HI) programme received their degrees and graduated successfully.

The Graduation Day ceremony for the B.Ed. Special Education (HI) programme was held on 18 July at the Dr. M.G.R. Institute of Special Education and Research.

The function was presided over by Dr. K. Rajasekaran, Principal of the Institute, who welcomed the gathering and delivered the welcome address.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that Special Education teachers are unique individuals who dedicate their lives to serving society. Along with teaching, they have the responsibility of nurturing the lives of children with special needs and helping them become confident and capable individuals.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Sudha Rajendran, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, delivered the convocation address to the graduating students for the 2021–2025 batch. She congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future endeavours.

She encouraged the graduates to uphold the institution’s motto, “Educate, Empower, Excel,” and to become dedicated Special Educators who serve society with commitment and compassion.

Among the graduates, many students secured Distinction and First Class. The Principal, faculty members, parents, relatives, and friends congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their professional careers.
